IEEE Foundation - Realizing Your Impact
The IEEE Foundation has 30 million bold new reasons to be proud after reaching its ambitious $30 million fundraising goal through the Realize the Full Potential of IEEE Campaign. Initiated in November 2015 and publicly launched in February 2018, the campaign’s landmark $30 million fundraising target -- achieved in December 2020 -- is driving new levels of technological access, innovation and engagement through a variety of far-reaching global initiatives designed to transform lives through the power of technology and education.
OPENING OUR MINDS AND HEARTS TO OUR FUTURE
The Region 8 exhibit aims at attracting volunteers to share ideas and experiences in volunteering for our sustainable future.
The IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC), which reports to the IEEE Board of Directors, provides leadership and a suite of resources that inspire and enable IEEE volunteers and OUs around the world to carry out and support impactful humanitarian technology and sustainable development activities at the local level. In 2020, HAC has supported over 100 grassroots IEEE member projects that address the local challenges in 29 countries.
IEEE Educational Activities: Collaboration Opportunities Adding Value to IEEE Members in Your Region/Section
IEEE Educational Activities
IEEE Educational Activities (EA) provides programs and services to support learners throughout their lifetimes. EA has offerings for pre-university audiences including students, parents, and teachers as well as those at the university level. Programs and courses are offered to support graduates at all points in their careers through continuing professional education. Many of these programs become far more powerful when they are adopted by local volunteers engaging in their community.

IEEE Region 10
Sharing projects, initiatives, highlights and activities of IEEE Region 10 to engage all IEEE Members and benefits the engineering communities.
IEEE Collabratec is the global technical community of IEEE. Open to both members and non-members, the platform offers a suite of productivity, authoring and collaboration tools, with premium-level services exclusively for IEEE Members.
The IEEE History Center: Moving Forward by Looking Back
IEEE History Center
The IEEE History Center, overseen by the IEEE History Committee, has many activities to engage members in preserving and promoting their proud heritage as IEEE members and as practitioners in IEEE fields of interest. These activities include the IEEE Milestones Program, the Oral History Program, a lecture and publication program, maintaining the IEEE Archives, and the IEEE Global History Museum. Historical materials are made available to the public through the Engineering & Technology History Wiki (www.ethw.org) and to pre-university educators through the IEEE REACH website (https://reach.ieee.org/).
IEEE REACH: A holistic understanding of technology and society is critical for lifelong learning
IEEE History Center
Discover IEEE REACH, an education resource program that provides free digital materials to pre-university teachers and students around the globe. Through the lens of history, the program focuses on the social context of technology and improves technological and engineering literacy skills – an imperative for life-long learning. Technology and engineering education often overlook interdisciplinary connections, IEEE REACH addresses this challenge. Developed by the IEEE History Center, REACH is leading the way to provide students with a conceptual understanding of technology’s role in society. By understanding how inventions and innovations emerge and how they impact the world, students are better prepared to make responsible decisions about technology and are better equipped for the workforce and as global citizens.

Wiley-IEEE Press offers high-quality books and reference works in electrical engineering and computer science.
IEEE's Author Center is a major author engagement effort that brings targeted guidance on how to publish in an IEEE journal, conference, book, or magazine to all authors. We look forward to meeting you and answering your publications-related questions.
IEEE SA is open to people and communities from around the world working at every stage of technological development. The development and use of market-relevant standards is important and prevalent as ever—and so are new market and industry needs and drivers. To meet these needs and expectations, IEEE SA has grown to include a variety of services that encompass the full lifecycle of a standard, including pre-standardization activities, conformity assessment, alliance management, open source community development, and many other offerings.
Region 3: Engagement Through Projects
One of the ways Region 3 has been working towards improved engagement is through project. The MOVE truck started as a Region 3 project. We have Sections that use projects to bring together multiple chapters and non-members to work together toward a common, fun goal. We also have provided funds for Sections to run COVID-related projects. We will present information about our projects, with ideas and guidelines on how to implement your own projects.
NextGen is an investment in the future of IEEE. With the feedback from our volunteers, IEEE is creating processes and tools that will help streamline, simplify, save time and allow for greater financial and contract visibility for our volunteers to improve business insights, workflow, and decisions. The goal is to manage IEEE finances and contracts processes with greater efficiency.
IEEE Women in Engineering
IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is a global network of IEEE members and volunteers dedicated to promoting women in STEM, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in STEM. The mission of IEEE WIE is to facilitate the recruitment and retention of women in technical disciplines globally.

SusTech 2021 - How Emerging Technologies Are Driving Sustainability
Increasing Member Engagement with IEEE Technical Activities
IEEE consists of many organizations, one of which is IEEE Technical Activities (TA). TA has Societies and Councils representing the various technology disciplines, as well as societal and ethical aspects. Additionally there are numerous Communities focused on advancing new and emerging technologies, technical roadmaps, entrepreneurship, new applications, and more. TA has a lot of cross collaboration across IEEE.
